Furniture Design.

I am obsessed with texture and take delight in working with my hands so I easily fell in love with refurbishing furniture.

In this piece I refurbished this old cherry wood coffee table with nested chairs. I printed my Pop Rose design on a leatherette fabric and reupholstered one of the chairs with it. I chose three other textures to reupholster the remaining chairs. For the refinishing of the wood, I used a metallic paint, creating a raised texture. Lastly, I applied a dry paint technique using chalk paint to add more texture, dimension and interest to the surface.
